I.C.A.N! stands for:
Inclusive Community Activities with No Barriers
Since 2000, Between Friends has proudly provided I.C.A.N! – an inclusive service aimed at fostering partnerships with our community recreation providers. This service aims to broaden social and recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their active participation in community activities within an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming environment.

We want to collaborate with recreation service providers to empower individuals with disabilities by offering choice and access to quality, inclusive programs within their community.

What does it mean to become an I.C.A.N! Partner?

For over 40 years, Between Friends has been crafting quality social and recreation programs for youth and adults with disabilities.
We're here to support your team wherever you are in your inclusion journey. And together, we can create opportunities for people of all abilities to access social and recreation programs of their choice and know that they are welcome.
